We want to take the mysticism out of marketing. We don’t want to confuse our clients - we want to help them. And we can help by developing a straightforward and achievable marketing strategy that achieves discernible results within a set budget. In short we help our clients reach more potential customers and then turn those potential customers into actual customers.
So what is marketing? As with many things it depends who you ask, but the Chartered Institute of Marketing define it as:
The management process responsible for identifying, anticipating and satisfying customer requirements profitably.
Twenty20 Media define it as the process of gaining more customers. Simple as that.
Elements of Marketing
You may have heard of the 3 p’s of marketing or you may have heard of the 4 p’s of marketing? You may even have heard of the 5, 6 and 7 p’s of marketing? It all depends on who you ask. But if you ask us we think it’s best not to over complicate something that doesn’t need complicating so stick to the 4 p’s (shown in bold below). We think any more p’s, q’s or any other letter that can be thought of can fit into one of the original categories.
- Product
- Price
- Place
- Promotion
- Packaging
- Positioning
- People
